Colorado’s Travis Hunter: Deion Sanders lands highest-ranked transfer on signing day, media react

Hunter Travistransfer portal’s highest-ranked player, signed with Colorado and coach Deion Sander Wednesday, delivering on his promise to announce his decision after hitting 100,000 subscribers on YouTube. The Georgia native caused an outpouring of backlash after Sanders moved to Colorado earlier this month after entering the portal following Jackson State’s loss at the Celebration Bowl over the weekend.

Hunter was the top-ranked player in the 2022 recruiting cycle and moved from FSU to Jackson State early in the signing period last year. Now, he’s teamed up with Sanders after considering offers from Georgia, USC and Florida, among others.
