Reigning UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo and current interim 125-pound titleholder Brandon Moreno will collide for a fourth (and hopefully last) time in the upcoming payout event. pay-per-view (PPV) from UFC 283, locked and loaded for TONIGHT (Saturday Jan 21, 2023) inside the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Check out their embedded fight video preview above.
Figueiredo (21-2-1) and Moreno (20-6-2) fought to a draw on the UFC 256 PPV card in late 2020, then kicked it off at UFC 263 the following June. It was there that Moreno picked up a submission victory over “Daico” – only to find themselves on the losing side of a unanimous decision in their UFC 270 trilogy in early 2022.
‘The Assassin Baby’ then won the interim title by stopping Kai Kara France at UFC 277 last July, a fight that was hastily arranged when Figueiredo took time off due to injury. Despite rumors of a bantamweight trip, it looks like the Brazilian is ready to close the book on his Moreno rivalry once and for all.
