Conor McGregor is nearly done recovering from a horrific leg injury and is looking to get a fight booked in February 2023. Now the big question is whether USADA will force him to wait another six months as he reenters their drug testing pool, or if “The Notorious” will get a special exemption from this process.
McGregor’s injuries were certainly serious enough to warrant removing the fighter from drug testing so doctors could start any regenerative treatments available to his leg. And in theory, we can agree that athletes coming back from a year and injuries shouldn’t have to miss another six months. But really, one only has to look at McGregor’s rehabilitation physique to know why he doesn’t deserve a bye. The guy is screwed. Play. And not natty, according to Scientist Brothers on the Internet.
Joe Rogan didn’t dance around him on the latest episode of The Joe Rogan Experience. He had on PED expert Derek from “More Plates More Dates,” and they had a long chat about McGregor’s 20+ pound muscle gain.
“He takes off his shirt and poses constantly and it looks like his piss would melt that USADA cup,” Rogan said. “As if it felt like burning a hole in the bottom of that USADA cup.”
“I did an in-depth video on what I think he could do,” Derek said. “And I think for anyone who doesn’t pass the eyesight test, he would definitely be one of those people. But I wouldn’t boil him down to that, he could be a hyper aberrant individual for sure. And I would never want to make a definitive statement. I think it’s highly likely that he did some things for sure.
Derek noted that McGregor had recently made curious comments regarding the USADA pullout.
“It almost seemed like he was justifying drug use at one point,” he said. “He was like, ‘You don’t know what that looks like.’ ‘I got out of the [USADA] swimming pool, everything is on board. And it was very reminiscent of, ‘It was in the rules and I had to do it, and fuck you if you disagree with my decision.’
“What’s weird is that there’s a loophole in USADA that lets you get out of the test group,” Rogan said. “It sounds weird and you only need six months. If someone has an injury, that’s a very wise way to approach it, isn’t it? »
“HGH, peptides, androgens are very restorative, as they will build bone mineral density,” Derek said. “Like, there are certain things that are going to stay in the system for a long time that he can never use, but anything pro-bone, I would be strongly incentivized, if I was him and I wasn’t tested, I would grow this vector strong.
It remains unclear how the UFC and USADA will handle McGregor’s return. If he reenters the USADA testing pool in February but doesn’t get an exemption, that means no McGregor until August 2023. That certainly won’t make ESPN and Disney too happy, given how badly McGregor has spurred subscriber growth every time he fights.
Ultimately, the UFC has the final say on whether or not to grant an exception, so it’s really up to them. While we would generally expect them to lean towards whatever makes them the most money, they don’t want the whole situation to turn into a massive mainstream sports scandal.
Derek from More Plates More Dates knows all about the scale of steroid scandals. He recently released “The Liver King,” a natural supplement pushing the social media influencer who claimed to be PED-free. Well, it turns out the dude is spending thousands of dollars a month on a kitchen sink containing HGG and other drugs.
This guy was just a carny sideshow and Derek’s video exposing him generated millions of views and headlines worldwide. Now imagine the media storm if the UFC gives Conor McGregor a drug test pass when he fails the eye test… not as bad as ‘Liver King,’ maybe, but fails However.
