Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Safe to say, Nate Diaz has options.
Diaz may be closer to the end of his fighting career than the beginning, but that doesn’t mean his immediate future is decided. The Stockton slugger broke his UFC contract when he defeated Tony Ferguson at UFC 279, making him the biggest MMA star to enter free agency in some time. Bigger rival promotions like Bellator and PFL have expressed interest in welterweight, and Nate Diaz also has his own fighting promotion that could possibly host his next fight.
These are just a few options in the cage. If Diaz was to make his long-awaited boxing debut, he was courted by Jake Paul, as well as Floyd Mayweather and the RIZIN team. In the bare-knuckle arena, perhaps a fight with Mike Perry could help grow the sport younger.
Earlier today, Diaz may have hinted at at least one aspect of his future plans. He posed with WWE superstar and executive Triple H, captioned, “We’ll see what happens next.”
Of course, Diaz wouldn’t be the first MMA star wooed by the squared circle. Last month, Triple H was spotted with UFC Welterweight kingpin Leon Edwards, who could perhaps avenge an infamous 1-2 and a point in the wrestling world?
We’ll just have to stay tuned to see where Diaz ends up.
TWELVE DAYS BEFORE UFC 280!
Rumor has it that Tai Tuivasa will return at UFC 284 in Perth, Australia. Who would you like to see “Bam Bam” fight next after his UFC Paris barnburner against Ciryl Gane?
A cordial conversation between Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan — nice to see!
Here’s a context-free clip of Jan Blachowicz’s dance.
Did the Crypto Crash of 2022 Unceremoniously End UFC Crypto Bonuses? If so, Rose Namajunas earning a fan bonus for her performance against Carla Esparza will forever be in our hearts as a classic MMA moment.
Also, the fighter’s crypto bonus was set aside for “retooling”, but with dotcom being in deep cost cutting mode, I’d be surprised to see them return… In fact, retooling n was maybe just a cover to take out with them in the first place…. https://t.co/arLP67U6SK

All the best to referee Mike Beltran, who is currently recovering from diverticulitis, a digestive disorder that I only know about because of MMA.
Thank you all for wishing me good luck. I was hospitalized with diverticulitis and had a ruptured stomach causing sepsis. Thanks to my wife who took care of me since my hospitalization. She was a “ROCKSTAR”. For now, I need rest and time off to get better. pic.twitter.com/OKA6qkiENg

I was lucky enough to train with TJ Dillashaw for about a year when I was 18 and not particularly good at fighting. He was very kind and took the time to go above and beyond when teaching. I will always appreciate education and friendship.
He also beat my ass once on a shoulder lock attempt and fucked guys on a regular basis. The duality of man!
Slips, tears and KO clips
A slick lead uppercut started the final combination.
Julian Lane — from “Let Me Bang Bro!” fame – was completely destroyed by a huge counter left hook over the weekend.
Breaking the lead with a well-timed cross:
Helmet-to-helmet collision, 15 meters.

Sleep well fools! More martial arts madness is always on the way.
