Tanner Boser is moving from heavyweight to light heavyweight for his next fight.
‘The Bulldozer’ amassed a 4-4 UFC record as a heavyweight, but a split decision loss to Rodrigo Nascimento in September 2022 may have finally pushed him to shed a few pounds and sneak in the 205-pound division. Boser weighed 229 pounds, just a little lighter than the 261-pound Nascimento.
Shortly after the loss, Boser – who has already argued with fans online over his determination to stay at heavyweight – took to Twitter to ask if he should cut back to light heavyweight. “Oui idiot” won the poll with 72.8% of the vote.
Should I move up to light heavyweight for my next fight?

As some say: Vox populi, vox dei. So now Boser will fight Ion Cutelaba at 205lbs on the UFC Fight Night: Holloway vs. Allen undercard in Kansas City on April 15. The fight was first announced via MMA Fighting.
Ion Cutelaba has had his own struggles since joining the UFC as a 10-1 prospect. He’s now 5-8 with the promotion and on a three-fight losing skid. The two men are likely fighting over their jobs here, which could result in a wild fight or a calculated affair. I hope we will have the first.
UFC Kansas City is headlined by a featherweight bout between Max Holloway and Arnold Allen. Also on the program: Edson Barboza against Billy Quarantillo, Pedro Munhoz against Chris Gutierrez and Lando Vannata against Daniel Zellhuber.
