Monstrous moment shark ‘lungs’ at boy, 8, as he boards boat with coral trout on Great Barrier Reef
- A shark lunges at a boy to climb a boat with spearfishing
- A predator was trying to catch a fish that killed the boy
- The boy is later shown unharmed from the close encounter
An eight-hundred-year-old boy appeared to have a very nasty call when he boarded the boat behind the spear.
In a viral TikTok video – which has been questioned by some on social media – someone asks a boy, Manni, what he brought back from the ocean after fishing around Lady Musgrave Island, on the central Queensland coast.
Manni, who holds the ladder at the stern of the boat, lifts a large fish on the platfrom, and begins to say something about the mud.

A shark then suddenly appears, to take the fish out of Mann’s hands, but ends up hitting the boy with his head in thin air.
According to the video maker, Manni emerged unscathed from the close encounter.
“He already felt a little, a little pain in the chest but that’s it,” Manni told Nine News.
When asked if he was worried about stopping the random attack, Manni said, “I’m going.”
Not everyone is convinced the video was legitimate, however.

Just moments after the fish on the boat a shark appears out of nowhere to lunge at Manni
‘It looks like a shark died and someone pushed it over the kid,’ he wrote in the comments.
The sequence of the race shows Manni displaying the fish he has speared, although it is different from the one he threw into the boat earlier.
Certainly, if there was anything wrong with Manni’s meeting with the sharks, he did not show them with a wide grin lifting a big fish.

But the videomaker wasn’t too impressed.
Like mud, the ttest fish in the ocean, why are they even shot? the man asks.
‘Because he prevented me from swimming, he didn’t stop being dumb, he was just dumb enough to swim to me so that they could send me, so I just shot,’ answers Manni.
‘You are going to go,’ says the fabricator.
In the comments later he revealed that the fish was given to the local milk.
Daily Mail Australia has approached the video maker for comment.
